ADI Part 2
Part 2 ORDIT Registered Drivng Instructor Training

Part 2 training
Your part 2 training is the best in the UK. Far more complex than with any other trainer locally or nationally.
The foundation for your training is very simple.
You must be 100% sure that when you drive, you know what the correct procedure in any situation is. You must be able to adapt to different situations and alter this procedure if necessary.
You must be technically perfect throughout the drive, but again be able to adapt to any changing situation.
Only if you posses a thorough knowledge of the correct procedures are you able to pass your knowledge on to your pupil's. That is one of the reasons for poor quality instructors, they were never trained how to drive correctly in the first place! They just got lucky on part 2 and took their training no further.
You will be trained thoroughly in all the basic aspects to achieve a technically perfect drive:
Remember you've probably been carrying out these incorrectly for years!
Vehicle safety and checks/mechanical principles

Due to the high standards, involved training hours would normally average between 20-30 hours. This training sets the basis for your part 3 instruction.
In addition to this training, you must carry out approx 2 hours private practice per hours training this can be done as part of your usual weekly driving.
Also during your part 2 training, we commence with part 3 training. For instance delivering clear route directions, watching your pupil, watching how I instruct you.
Most of the larger training companies aim to get you through part 2 in 2 - 5 hours!
